Overview
MangoApps Training is a native learning system: author courses from text, video, documents, or an uploaded SCORM, xAPI, cmi5 or AICC package (played natively, no external player), sequence them into learning paths, and gate progress with auto-graded quizzes. Completing a course issues a branded, publicly verifiable certificate, and when a course is set to award one, a real skill or certification on the employee's Skills & Certifications profile.
AI can turn a topic or an uploaded document into a full draft course and quiz — a person reviews and publishes it, nothing goes live unassisted. The same AI Console watches for new hires needing required training, training gone overdue, and certifications about to expire, then either queues the action for an admin to approve or runs it automatically.
Businesses that don't want to author everything themselves can license ready-made titles from the Go1 or OpenSesame catalog and assign them alongside their own courses.
Author courses by hand or generate them with AI, sequence learning paths with auto-enrollment, and track completion, quizzes, and certifications org-wide.

Storefront, Partner Content & Reach
-
Free, one-time, or subscription pricing with cart, checkout & promo codes Course commerce is off by default — an admin turns on "Sell courses" in Training Settings to open the storefront, cart, promo codes and bundles.
-
Gift a course to a colleague Part of the commerce surface; available once "Sell courses" is turned on.
-
Wishlists Part of the commerce surface; available once "Sell courses" is turned on.
-
Ratings, reviews, and course Q&A Standard on every course and learning path — not tied to commerce. Any enrolled learner can review; a review is badged "verified purchase" only when the learner actually bought the course.
-
Public SEO course catalog with guest browsing + sitemap The guest-browsable catalog and sitemap cover MangoApps-curated system courses. Your own tenant's courses stay behind login.
-
Go1 & OpenSesame partner content sync and curated partner-course catalog with licensing
-
Course recommendations and skill-gap suggestions Rule-based, not an AI model: recommendations are derived from skill gaps, role requirements, compliance due dates, career paths, and 30-day enrollment trends.

FAQ
Yes, when an admin enables self-enrollment. Courses can be opened for learners to join from the catalog, kept assignment-only, or auto-enrolled via rules based on new-hire status, role, a schedule, or a certificate expiring.
Quizzes support multiple-choice, true/false, and multiple-select questions, each worth configurable points, with a passing score you set per quiz. You can limit attempts and add a time limit. Grading is automatic and scores appear immediately, and (when enabled) a course won't count as complete until the learner passes its quiz.
Completing a course auto-issues a branded PDF certificate with a unique number and a public verification page anyone can check without logging in. Certificates can expire on a per-course validity window or a business-wide default; expired certs can be renewed, and certificate-expiry enrollment rules can re-assign the course automatically before someone lapses.
Yes. Add a lesson of type 'SCORM Package' and upload a SCORM 1.2/2004 or xAPI package as a .zip (up to 100MB) — it's hosted and played through an external SCORM engine, and the learner's progress, completion, and score sync back into the course automatically. You can also author lessons natively from text, video (YouTube, Vimeo, Loom, Wistia, Bunny, or direct upload), documents, and quizzes, or connect the Go1 or OpenSesame content marketplace for curated, licensable third-party courses.
Yes, once an admin turns on "Sell courses" in Training Settings — course commerce is off by default, since most tenants run Training as an internal LMS and never price a course. With it on, courses can be free, a one-time purchase, or a subscription, and you get a shopping cart and checkout, promo/discount codes, bundles, the option to gift a course to a colleague, and wishlists. Ratings and reviews are separate: they're on for every course whether or not you sell anything, and a review is badged "verified purchase" when the reviewer actually bought the course. The public SEO catalog for guest browsing covers MangoApps-curated system courses — your own courses stay behind login.
AI can generate a complete course from a topic prompt, convert an uploaded document into a structured course, generate quizzes from lesson content, edit lesson text, and translate a course into another language. Autonomously, it can nudge learners about overdue training and expiring certifications and assign required courses to new hires, with an AI Console where admins set the autonomy level and approve or reject actions. Each AI capability has its own admin toggle.
Training requires a license and is enabled per tenant — an administrator turns it on for your business from the Apps Marketplace. Contact your MangoApps administrator about enabling it for your organization.
Training is the LMS where people learn and are tested on knowledge — courses, lessons, quizzes, certificates, and compliance. Practice Hub is a separate app for rehearsing real conversations and presentations against an AI with scored feedback (the 'practice' step). Skills & Certifications is a separate system of record for what an employee is qualified in; when a Training course is set to award a skill, completing it grants a verified skill or certification there. They complement each other — Training hands completion signals off to Skills, and behavioral practice lives in Practice Hub.
