In appreciation of your efforts, we've designed a referral program that rewards both you and those you refer.
- When you introduce someone to MangoApps, they will receive an exclusive 3-month trial offer—a testament to the trust we place in our community's recommendations. There is no other group to whom we offer trials of this nature.
- If your referral engages in a discovery call with our sales team and qualifies as a lead, we'll reward you with $100.
- And when they become a valued customer, you'll receive a commission on their first year’s revenue. The commission on the first $100,000 in revenue is 5%, and then 2.5% on any revenue beyond that threshold, up to a maximum commission of $10,000. It's our way of thanking you for your valuable contribution!

Many of our best customers today came to us through word of mouth. This highlights the importance of our community, which is why we’re offering incentives to you for referring prospective customers to us. We want to ensure that you’re rewarded for your efforts.
Also, the expansion of our customer base enables us to enhance MangoApps. Unlike other companies that spend large sums on sales and marketing, most of our revenue goes directly into research and development, so with more clients, we can allocate even more resources to our product and customer success teams.
This cycle of growth and improvement ensures that we continue to deliver overwhelming value and innovation to you.

Who To Refer
We are looking for referrals who have a genuine need for a modern intranet and/or employee app, and hold decision-making power or have significant influence within their organizations.
We are interested in companies with at least 500 employees, especially those in Director positions or above across HR, IT, Communications, or Operations teams—or any team responsible for such initiatives.
Here are some ideas on people you should consider referring:
- Colleagues from your past companies
- Former team members at your current company who have moved elsewhere
- Individuals within your personal network who meet the specified criteria
- Your mentors or mentees
- Peers from local groups

To qualify for the initial payout in our referral program, the referred individual must engage in a discovery call with our sales team within 60 days of the referral. The referred person should be in a position to influence the adoption of our product within a company that could realistically benefit from it. We are focused on securing genuine business opportunities, not just participants for a demonstration. Our goal is to foster quality engagements that have the potential to develop into valuable partnerships.
The process is as follows:
- You submit a referral, after having given them a heads up that we’ll be contacting them.
- Our sales team reaches out and schedules a call to take place within 60 days.
- The referral proves to be a genuine business opportunity.
- We pay you $100 (via gift card) and also send you some awesome mango swag for your first referral.
- The sales process continues, and they sign on as a MangoApps customer within 12 months of your referral.
- We pay you a commission on the first year of revenue from the customer’s signed contract (via check or wire).
Commission details:
The commission will be 5% of the first $100,000 in revenue, and 2.5% on any additional revenue, up to a maximum of $10,000. For example, a $50,000 customer would pay a $2,500 commission, and a $200,000 customer would pay out a $7,500 commission. Any customer with $400,000 or more in annual revenue would pay out $10,000 in commission (the maximum).
This commission will be paid as a lump sum upon contract signing, via check or wire transfer.
At present, the referral program is exclusively available to current or former employees of a MangoApps customer residing in the United States. Other interested individuals or entities are encouraged to contact us directly to explore potential partnership opportunities. Just fill out our contact form. We will handle this on a case-by-case basis if it arises, but generally speaking, first come, first serve.
To ensure quality, there's a limit of 10 referrals per month, with one referral allowed per company. If you have additional qualified referrals, please reach out to us to explore other partner programs we offer.
You should mention this to the person you are referring before you reach out to us, but otherwise, no—our sales team will handle the outreach.
If you have someone you’d like to refer, fill out the form anyway. We will be happy to donate what would have been your fee to a charity of your choice, or compensate you in some other way like paying for your trip to a conference or membership in a community or training program. We are open to ideas to make this work for you.
Upon receiving a referral, we will send you an email acknowledging the referral to ensure transparency and fairness. Additionally, we will CC you on our initial outreach to the lead you referred and provide you with regular updates on the status of each referral through monthly reports. If a company is already in our sales pipeline and beyond the prospecting stage, we will inform you accordingly.
Yes, if you used to work for a MangoApps customer and have moved on to a new role elsewhere, you can refer your current employer to us within this program. Referrals from employees must meet the same qualification criteria as referrals from external sources. While we prioritize referrals submitted via the referral form, we understand there may be instances where an employee suggests MangoApps and the prospect independently contacts us. If it's explicitly stated in the initial interaction that an employee referred them to us, we'll capture that information, verify their eligibility including past employment at a MangoApps customer, and make them eligible for the reward. Our referral program values all referrals and rewards individuals for their contributions to our customer base's growth.
Currently, after submitting a referral, you can opt for monthly updates or email our referral program manager for status. In the future, we will provide a personalized dashboard where you can monitor referral progress.
A referral means introducing a new potential customer to MangoApps who is actively considering a solution like ours. A reference call, on the other hand, is when an existing customer shares their experience with MangoApps to help another company make a decision. While we appreciate both, only referrals that meet the program criteria qualify for rewards.
