FAQ
Calendar is a full company, team, and personal calendar. You can create one-time or recurring events, invite people (including outside guests), track Yes/No/Maybe RSVPs, run on-site QR or GPS check-in, and view shifts, time-off, holidays, and events together in one grid — plus optionally sync events to Google or Outlook.
You can connect Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook via OAuth, or subscribe from any app that supports the iCal standard using a read-only feed URL. Event sync is one-way outbound (MangoApps → your calendar); changes you make in Google or Outlook do not flow back. Your administrator controls which providers are available.
Yes. You can invite external guests by email, and they can respond Yes, No, or Maybe through a secure public link — no MangoApps login required. Admins can enable or disable external RSVP for the business.
Yes. Calendar supports Google-parity recurring series (RFC 5545). You can edit a single occurrence, this-and-following occurrences, or the entire series, and skip or cancel individual dates.
Hosts can display a QR code (including a full-screen Display-QR mode) that attendees scan to check in, or use GPS geo-fenced check-in with an admin-set radius. Hosts can manually confirm anyone whose location reading was low-accuracy, and print attendee badges.
By default an event allows up to 5,000 attendees and up to 10 file attachments of 25 MB each, with up to 5 reminders. Each business can create up to 10 custom event types. Administrators can adjust the attendee and attachment limits.
Calendar is for events and meetings — scheduling time, inviting people, and tracking attendance. Bookings is for reserving rooms, desks, and spaces. If you need to book a resource, use the Bookings app; Calendar's location field is for describing where an event happens, not reserving it.
Calendar is included with MangoApps Workforce and requires a license that your administrator enables for your organization. There is no separate per-seat add-on cost.
Yes. The unified calendar grid pulls in published shifts, approved leave, and company holidays automatically, and — when the related apps are enabled — task due dates, training sessions, interviews, and more, so everything appears in one view.
