Outside systems are searched live, as the person, and never crawled or indexed.
There is no crawler. Search reads your MangoApps records live, plus a meaning index MangoApps keeps of company knowledge—policies, SOPs, wikis, site pages, the text of documents shared through Drive, and the transcripts of company-visible recordings. When an employee searches, the engine finds a match even if it only appears inside a document—not in the file title. Outside systems such as SharePoint are never indexed: they are searched live, as the person, each time. This means asking a natural language question returns the correct policy document even if it is titled something generic.
Yes. The phone results page has the same filters as the desktop: one area, a date range, and only your own items. Saved searches and the recent searches on the results page are kept with the person's account, so they follow them from the desktop to the phone and back.
