Use cases

Recognition reward redemption
Employees spend recognition points earned from peer shout-outs on branded merchandise or gift cards in the store.
New hire welcome kit
Admins add onboarding swag items to the catalog and grant new employees bonus points to redeem their welcome package.
Regional merchandise
A multi-location company sets up region-specific catalogs so each office sees locally available items and shipping options.
Charitable giving campaign
HR adds charitable donation items to the store, letting employees convert points into contributions to approved nonprofits.
Year-end rewards
Managers grant bonus points at year-end and employees redeem them for experiences, gift cards, or premium swag.
Peer-funded rewards
Every employee gets a monthly allowance of points to give peers; those points credit the recipient's store balance 1:1, so recognition between coworkers turns directly into redeemable rewards.
Budget-controlled program
Finance sets department and manager point budgets; redemptions draw down the most specific budget and a hard cap blocks anything over the remaining allowance — so the program never overspends.

FAQ

The store supports points-only redemption, cash purchases via Stripe (credit/debit cards and saved payment methods), and mixed payments combining points and cash.

Balances are funded from the Recognitions app (peer awards, manager bonuses, and program milestones) and from peer-given points — each employee gets a monthly Mango Kudos allowance to give coworkers, which credits the recipient's balance 1:1. Admins can also make manual balance adjustments. Every transaction is logged for audit purposes.

Yes. Finance can set department and manager spend budgets in points. Each redemption draws down the most specific budget that applies to the employee, and a hard cap blocks any redemption that would exceed the remaining allowance. High-value redemptions can also route through tiered approval, and a burst of redemptions in a short window is held for admin fraud review.

Yes. When regions are enabled, each item can be assigned to a specific region. Employees only see items from their region plus any global items.

Orders move through pending, processing, and fulfilled statuses. Admins manage fulfillment from the admin orders dashboard with optional email notifications at each stage.

Branded swag is produced and shipped on demand through Printful (print-on-demand), and digital gift cards are delivered through Tremendous or Tango. You connect these reward providers once in the central Integrations hub (Admin → Integrations); internal or experience items are fulfilled manually from the admin orders dashboard.
