New Pages Posted to Chat Channels — share new intranet and wiki pages in team chat

Sites and Wikis can now post a page into chat channels when it is published, so news reaches people in the conversations they already follow. An admin picks the channels in each app's settings, and every published page appears there as a card with its cover, a short summary and an Open link. A page goes to the channels whether it is announced automatically on publish or someone presses Tell people. Only pages that everyone in the organization can read are posted, so a page meant for a smaller group is never shown in a wider channel.

Use case: An internal communications team publishes a new benefits page on the HR site, and it appears straight away in every location's chat channel, where employees open it from the card.

Policy Acknowledgments in Onboarding Plans — add company policies to new hire onboarding

HR teams can now add a company policy for a new hire to read and acknowledge directly to an onboarding plan or template. Previously a policy reached onboarding only when it was marked required for everyone it applied to. The picker lists published policies that ask for acknowledgment and shows which ones the plan already includes. It also warns when the hire is outside a policy's audience, and adding the policy anyway still asks them to acknowledge it. Templates can carry a policy too, so every plan made from them asks the hire, in their local version when one applies. When a policy is published, made required for onboarding or given a wider audience, it is now also added to the plans of hires who are already partway through onboarding, due the day it is added.

Use case: An HR coordinator adds the remote-work policy to a new engineer's onboarding plan during preboarding, and the hire acknowledges it from their checklist before their first day.
