AI page generation · org-grounded lookups · review workflow · governance audit.
Overview
Sites lets teams build internal sites and pages entirely through an AI conversation interface. Features include an asset manager for images/documents/videos, 40+ section types for page design, cross-app intelligence (pulls team data, policies, forms), content governance with freshness tracking, version history, audience targeting, comments, bookmarks, site following, and a split-screen editor with real-time preview. Next-generation CMS capabilities: self-maintaining content that flags pages when their linked policies, forms, people, or events change and stages a one-click refresh; an 'Ask this page' reader assistant that answers only from content each viewer is allowed to see; per-section audience targeting that tailors a single page per viewer; AI citation analytics showing how often Ask AI answers through your pages; and built-in SEO (meta, Open Graph, JSON-LD, sitemap).

FAQ
No. Describe what you want through the AI conversation interface and it generates the page — including section choices and navigation. You can then fine-tune everything in the split-screen visual editor. For a whole intranet, the AI site builder drafts multiple pages from a single prompt, or you can start from one of the built-in site templates.
Sites is a licensed app included with MangoApps Workforce. It ships disabled by default — an admin turns it on for your tenant from the Apps Marketplace, then sets limits (max sites, pages per site, upload size) and toggles features like content governance, analytics, and the reader assistant in Sites settings.
Wikis is for structured, collaborative documentation — WYSIWYG articles with full revision history, sub-wiki hierarchy, and rollback. Sites is for designed, multi-section pages and portals: you compose a page from 48 section types (hero banners, stats bars, live org charts, embedded forms), pick a page design mode, target sections per viewer, and let the AI generate whole pages. Use Wikis to write a knowledge article; use Sites to build a department homepage, campaign page, or company portal.
Pages can link to live records elsewhere in the platform — policies, forms, people, and events. When one of those sources changes or is removed, the page is flagged and a one-click refresh is staged for the owner. The published page stays unchanged until the owner approves, so nothing edits itself silently. (Enable it in Sites settings; it's off by default.)
Yes. When 'Ask this page' is enabled, a reader can ask a question and get an answer drawn only from the content they're permitted to see, with the source page cited. It never reveals sections or pages the viewer couldn't open themselves.
Yes. Beyond targeting a whole page, individual sections can be scoped by department, role, location, or job title — so frontline staff and managers see tailored versions of the same page. Admins always see every section.
Yes. Each page can be translated into any of 38 supported languages using AI, human, or hybrid (AI-drafted then human-verified) methods, with a per-translation verification step. When you update the source content, affected translations are flagged as stale so they don't quietly drift out of sync.
Yes. Every page carries editable meta tags and Open Graph fields, emits JSON-LD (Article) structured data, and each site publishes an XML sitemap — so links preview cleanly when shared and, for any externally reachable pages, are set up correctly for search engines. Sensitive pages can be set to noindex.
Defaults are 50 sites per business and 100 pages per site, with a 25 MB per-file upload cap. Admins can adjust all of these limits in Sites settings.
