Book a Room from a Calendar Meeting — meeting room booking from calendar invites

A meeting in Calendar can now hold a room from Bookings. "Book a room" lists the rooms that are free or busy at the meeting's time. The room is booked for each date the meeting runs, and it moves or is released when the meeting is rescheduled or cancelled. Guests can also answer an invitation with Yes, No or Maybe straight from Gmail, Outlook or Apple Calendar, and their answer is recorded on the event. The event form has a simpler time picker that accepts typed times such as "2p", and repeat options now sit beside the end date instead of in a separate pop-up.

Use case: An office manager sets up a weekly team review, books the third-floor conference room for every week in one step, and sees guests' replies from their Outlook inboxes on the event.

Available in: Calendar → New Event → Book a room, with rooms from Bookings

Onboarding Templates by Department and Job Title — role-based employee onboarding plans

Onboarding templates can now be aimed at the departments and job titles chosen from your organization's own lists, so a new hire in Sales no longer receives the Engineering plan. The same rules apply however the plan is started: a new hire, a hire from recruiting, an internal move or a request to Ask AI. Each template says who it is for, and its page previews which recent new hires would have received it. Template and library tasks can also be checklist tasks, and every onboarding plan made from the template gets the same checklist items.

Use case: An HR manager builds an onboarding plan for warehouse associates with a "Prepare workstation" checklist, and every new associate hired at any location gets that plan and checklist automatically.

Available in: Onboarding Hub → Templates → Applies to

Edit Your Navigation Rail — personalized app navigation for employees

Each person can now arrange the navigation rail, the row of up to seven apps beside every page. In Edit Your Rail, each slot is labelled as the person's own app, an app from their dashboard or an app filled automatically. A person can replace an app, move their own apps up or down, remove one, or reset to the dashboard's rail. Administrators choose the apps each dashboard starts its members with in the Dashboard Builder, and any slots left over are filled with apps the company has switched on. Employees see the apps they use most without losing the ones their team relies on.

Use case: A store supervisor replaces an app they rarely use with Shifts and moves Time Clock to the top of their rail, while new hires on the same dashboard still start with the apps HR chose for them.

Available in: Home → Apps panel → Edit Rail, and Admin → Dashboard Builder → Recommended rail apps
