Chrome Extension 9.0 — Browser extension with streaming Ask AI, notifications tray, and six new app integrations

The MangoApps Chrome extension reaches version 9.0 with three substantial new capabilities. Ask AI in the extension panel now streams answers in real time, renders rich server-drawn components (tables, charts, cards, and forms), and supports threaded conversations — the same experience as the desktop panel. A new notifications tray, accessible from the toolbar badge, surfaces unread activity inline, supports "mark all read," and pages through the full inbox without leaving the current tab. On the capture side, six new app tiles bring the extension's coverage to 18 apps: Contracts (start a draft or add a counterparty note), Mango Spend (log an expense from a confirmation email), AI Notepad (turn a Google Calendar event into a meeting note with action items), Wikis (save a page or selection as a wiki article), News Feed (share the current page to the company feed), and Supplier Hub (add a new vendor directly from their website).

Use case: A sales manager reads a vendor's order confirmation in Gmail, logs the expense against an open report with one click, then asks Ask AI in the same panel for context on the vendor's contract history — without switching tabs.

Standard Contracts Library — Organization contract templates with versioning and start-from-template flow

Organizations can now maintain a library of their own standard paper — NDAs, MSAs, order forms, and any other reusable agreement — directly inside the Contracts app. Each template supports multiple versions (draft, published, retired), automatic placeholder detection (fields like {{client_name}} or {{effective_date}}), a usage count, and a description. Starting a new contract from a standard template copies the template file as the contract's first version, so any counterparty redline compares against your organization's own document. The library is reachable from the rail, the New Contract flow, and Settings › Rules & Libraries, with authoring restricted to admins.

Use case: A legal team publishes their NDA and MSA templates in the library once; every sales rep who creates a new contract starts from the approved document rather than an older file emailed around the team.

Company News Category in News Feed — Dedicated category for official company announcements

The News Feed now supports a first-class Company News category, giving organizations a way to separate official announcements from social and team posts. The category appears in the composer's category picker, throughout feed filters on web and mobile, in daily and hourly digest emails, and in the API's filter and count endpoints. Admins can configure who may post in each category; Company News follows its own priority rules and is included in the settings labels and OpenAPI documentation.

Use case: An HR team posts a benefits update under Company News so all employees can filter to official communications without it being buried in general activity.
