Review Automation Rules Engine — rules-based automated performance review scheduling
Performance review automation in MangoApps now uses first-class, admin-authored rules instead of a single global on/off switch. Each rule targets a specific audience, fires on a configurable trigger — hire anniversary, 30/60/90-day tenure milestone, or quarterly cadence — and carries its own review template, title, reviewer assignment (direct manager, self, or a specific person), create-in-advance lead time, and completion deadline. A built-in forecast view shows admins a dry-run preview of all upcoming automated reviews before they are created, with the option to create or run any item immediately. All automated reviews now receive the same template sections and participant flags as manually created reviews.
Use case: An HR admin at a mid-size company wants 90-day reviews created automatically for every new hire, assigned to the employee's direct manager with a two-week lead time — they configure one rule and the system handles every new hire going forward.

Skills Explore Catalog, Learning Resources & Bonus-Eligible Certifications — employee skill discovery, exam prep, and certification incentives
Employees can now browse and search the organization's full skills and certifications catalog from a dedicated Explore page — filtering by category, seeing which skills they already hold, and navigating to a detail page for any skill whether or not it is on their profile. Each skill can include learning and exam-prep resources (links, documents, videos) that HR manages inline on the admin skill form and that employees see on the skill detail page. Certifications marked as bonus-eligible automatically notify HR when an employee earns them, giving compensation teams a clear signal to process any applicable incentive payout outside the platform.
Use case: An operations manager wants to close a skills gap on the team — they search the Explore catalog for the relevant certification, find the prep resources attached to it, and share the direct link with their team members to self-enroll.

Per-Inspection Visibility Grants — granular access control for individual inspection records
Admins and managers can now open a Manage Visibility panel on any inspection and grant additional viewers — specific people, saved groups, departments, locations, or organizational roles — without changing the default visibility rules for the rest of the app. Grants are additive: they extend who can see a record, never restrict the default viewers (inspector, admins, and the location or department scope). The panel shows a live reach count that includes both default and granted viewers so admins always know exactly who has access before saving.
Use case: A compliance officer conducts a sensitive facilities inspection and needs to share the results with the legal team and one external auditor — they grant those individuals directly on the record without opening visibility to the entire department.
