Overview

Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, and quality checks from the field. Features include inspection templates with weighted scoring, offline support, photo evidence with annotations, auto-generated corrective action tasks, real-time compliance dashboards, AI-generated inspection reports, voice-to-text for hands-free input, and GPS location tracking.

Highlights

Build inspection templates with AI — from a plain-language prompt or a photo of an existing paper checklist.
Score with weighted, critical-item, and auto-fail-on-no rules, and require photo evidence per question.
Conduct on mobile web with GPS and signatures, or capture offline and sync from the native mobile app.
Auto-generate corrective actions on failures, hand them to the Tasks app, and route submissions through multi-stage review.
Run recurring schedules, inspection cycles, and facility coverage sweeps from one calendar.
Log external agency visits, track plans of correction, and answer regulatory questions with the Inspections AI agent.

Use cases

Daily workplace safety checks
Inspectors walk the facility on mobile, photograph hazards, and let failed items auto-create corrective action tasks with an owner and deadline.
Asset inspections via Quick Scan
Technicians scan an asset's QR or barcode to launch its inspection; a failing result downgrades the asset's condition automatically.
Food safety and HACCP audits
Kitchen managers run weighted templates where critical items like temperature and sanitation auto-fail the whole inspection.
Regulatory survey management
Compliance teams log an external agency visit in the Visit Log, capture each cited finding, and track plans of correction to closure.
Warehouse rack coverage sweeps
A quarterly coverage sweep expands a facility layout into aisle-by-aisle units; inspectors log only the exceptions and coverage rolls up per aisle.
Quarterly compliance cycles
Admins launch an inspection cycle, assign one inspection per location, and watch coverage and pass rates on the cycle dashboard.

Below is a real Cooling Log (135 to 70 in 2hr, 70 to 41 in 4hr) template, rendered live from the same schema your business runs on — not a screenshot. Every primitive shown here (checkboxes, ratings, photo capture, location pins, yes/no, signature) renders identically inside the app on your team's phones.

FAQ

Yes. Describe what you want in plain language and AI drafts the sections, questions, and scoring, or upload a PDF or photo of an existing paper checklist and AI extracts it into a template. AI-generated templates are saved as drafts for you to review and activate.

Inspections run on desktop and mobile web with photo capture, GPS, and signatures. Full offline capture with sync on reconnect is provided by the native mobile app; the browser conduct view requires connectivity. Questions flagged as requiring a photo can't be submitted without evidence attached.

A template question set to auto-fail-on-no fails the entire inspection when it gets a negative answer, regardless of the overall score. Separately, any question flagged as requiring a photo blocks submission until photo evidence is attached to it.

When enabled, each failed item generates a corrective action with a priority and a default 7-day deadline (configurable), and that action can be handed off to the Tasks app. A failed inspection can also auto-assign remediation training to the inspector. Templates can additionally route submissions through multi-stage review with return-for-rework.

Cycles announce a recurring inspection period (quarterly, annual, monthly, or custom) and can auto-assign one inspection per location or per item. Coverage sweeps expand a facility layout into per-aisle units so inspectors log only exceptions. Visit Logs record external surveyor and auditor visits, their cited findings, and the plans of correction to close them.

Inspections move through draft, scheduled, in_progress, in_review, completed, and cancelled. Templates belong to one of seven categories (safety, quality, compliance, equipment, food safety, environmental, general), score 0–100 by weighted or simple average, and default to an 80% pass threshold you can change per template.

Inspections requires a license and is opt-in per tenant — an administrator enables it for your business from the Apps Marketplace. It is disabled by default until then.

Forms collects structured submissions from many respondents through a published form you distribute. Inspections is a scored checklist an inspector conducts in the field — with pass/fail, photo evidence, GPS, signatures, and automatic corrective actions. The two connect through a bridge that can build an inspection template from an existing form.
