Build Site Pages from a Document or Web Page — create intranet pages from existing documents and websites

Sites can now build a complete draft page from content you already have: upload a file (PDF, Word, Markdown, HTML, or text), enter a public web page address, or paste text. The draft is laid out with Sites' own page sections instead of a copy of the original formatting. Images from the source are saved to your asset library with attribution, and long documents are split into one page per topic. A page imported from a web address can be checked against its source, and any changes arrive as an update for an editor to review. Nothing changes until an editor approves it.

Use case: An HR team moves its benefits guide from the public website to the company intranet in minutes. When the website version changes later, the intranet page's editor reviews the update before it goes live.

Waiting on You — see every required read and acknowledgement in one place

The Inbox has a new "Waiting on you" view that lists everything you still need to read or acknowledge: must-read posts, broadcasts, critical alerts, Sites pages, HR policies, and SOPs. Employees no longer have to check each app to find what they owe, and required reads still appear even if a notification category is muted. You can also ask Ask AI what is waiting on you, and confirm must-read posts and broadcasts in the conversation.

Use case: A frontline employee opens the Inbox at the start of a shift, sees a new safety alert and an updated leave policy waiting, and clears both before clocking in.

Call Out Sick Through Ask AI — report a shift absence by chat and get the shift covered

Employees can now report an absence for an upcoming shift by asking Ask AI, which is available on web, mobile, voice, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. The assistant asks which shift and which reason, shows a confirmation, and then submits the absence under the same rules as the absence form, so managers are notified as usual. If the absence would leave a published shift short within the next seven days, the system can suggest releasing the shift and offering it to other workers. This follows your existing Auto-Offer setting and approval preferences.

Use case: A retail associate who wakes up sick messages Ask AI from Microsoft Teams: "I can't make my shift tomorrow." The absence is recorded, their manager is notified, and the open shift is offered to qualified coworkers.
