News Feed Signals Dashboard — employee post intelligence, AI signal classification, manager dashboard

The News Feed Signals Dashboard gives managers and admins a structured view of what employees are communicating across the company feed, without reading every post. An AI classifier runs within 15 minutes of each post or comment and assigns one or more signal types — question, issue, idea, risk, decision, action item, or sentiment — along with a confidence score. Reaction-declared signals (e.g., a user applying a "This is a risk" reaction) are captured instantly at full confidence. The dashboard supports filtering by signal type with live counts, date range, and open/resolved status, and each row links directly to the originating post or comment.

Use case: A people operations manager filters to "Risk (12)" signals from the past 7 days, reviews the flagged posts, marks five as resolved after following up, and reopens one that was closed prematurely — all without leaving the dashboard.

Payroll Connect HRIS Sync — inbound HRIS data sync, employee roster import, HR integration

Payroll Connect now supports inbound data sync from 19 HRIS providers via Merge.dev, including Workday, BambooHR, Gusto, Rippling, HiBob, ADP Workforce Now, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG Pro, Deel, and others. HR admins configure which connected HRIS to pull from, toggle each of five entity types on or off (employees, time off, payroll runs, benefits, departments), and trigger on-demand pulls per entity or all at once. Synced employee records are matched to existing MangoApps user accounts by work email, personal email, or external ID, with unmatched records flagged as orphaned rather than silently dropped. All synced data is viewable in paginated tables in a new HRIS Sync tab.

Use case: An HR admin selects Workday as the active HRIS source, enables employee and department sync, clicks "Pull all," and within minutes sees the updated org structure and roster reflected in Payroll Connect — including which employees were matched to user accounts and which need manual resolution.

OCR Text Extraction for Contracts — contract OCR, scanned document text extraction, AWS Textract, Google Document AI

Contract managers can now run optical character recognition on scanned PDFs and image-based contract files directly from the Contracts app, powered by AWS Textract or Google Document AI. OCR runs as a background job — after clicking "Run OCR," the user receives an in-app notification when extraction is complete (or if it fails), with a character count on success. While processing, the document page shows an in-progress state that prevents duplicate submissions. Extracted text is stored on the contract record and fed into the AI-assisted smart field extractor, enabling automated population of vendor, amount, date, and other structured fields from documents that previously had no machine-readable content.

Use case: A contract manager uploads a scanned vendor agreement, clicks "Run OCR," and returns later to find the extracted text available and key contract fields — effective date, counterparty, and contract value — pre-populated by the AI extractor for review and confirmation.
