In-Browser Media Capture — capture photos, videos, and audio without leaving the platform
Users can now capture photos, videos, and audio recordings directly from within any workflow that accepts media — including forms, safety incident reports, inspection checklists, and task comments. The capture interface opens inline, walks through a live preview and review step before saving, and writes the file directly into the form's upload field. This eliminates the friction of switching to a camera app, saving to a camera roll, and re-uploading — a sequence that regularly caused workers to skip documentation entirely or submit incomplete reports.
Use case: A safety supervisor on the floor spots a hazard and opens an incident report on their phone. They tap the camera icon in the evidence field, capture a photo, review it, and submit — all without leaving MangoApps.
Available in: Forms · Incident Reporting · Inspections → any media attachment field
Template Library with Live Preview — browse and preview ready-to-use business templates before deploying
Every template in the MangoApps template library now has its own dedicated page with a full live preview showing the complete form, checklist, or workflow structure — sections, fields, and question types rendered exactly as employees will see them. Each page includes industry use cases, a FAQ section, and a direct path to customize and deploy the template. Templates span operations and compliance (inspections, SOPs), HR and people (performance reviews, HR policies), and forms across all categories.
Use case: An HR manager evaluating onboarding workflows browses the template library, opens a new-hire checklist template, previews every section and question in the live preview modal, and deploys a customized copy — without scheduling a demo or waiting for IT.
Available in: Template Library (/templates) → select any template → Live Preview
AI-Powered Template Refinement — iterate on system templates through a conversational AI interface
Platform administrators who manage the system template gallery can now refine templates through a chat-based AI workflow rather than editing raw JSON schemas by hand. The refinement session starts from an existing template, supports multi-turn conversation to adjust sections, fields, instructions, and scoring logic, and shows a live preview that updates after each exchange. Sessions persist so admins can pause and return to an in-progress refinement. This significantly reduces the time and expertise required to keep system templates current with changing compliance requirements or operational standards.
Use case: A platform admin needs to add a new equipment safety checklist section to an existing inspection template. They open the Refine with AI workflow, describe the section in plain language, review the AI-generated fields in the live preview, request a few adjustments, and publish — without writing any schema by hand.
Available in: App Builder → System Admin → Template Gallery → Refine with AI
