Product Update - June 04, 2026
Ballots App — Mockups and PRD — employee voting and decision-making app for organizations
A new Ballots app is in the design phase, with a full product requirements document and UI mockups now available in the codebase. The app is intended to give organizations a structured, transparent way to run formal votes — from department-level decisions to company-wide polls — without relying on ad hoc survey tools. This planning documentation marks the first step toward a dedicated ballot and voting experience in the MangoApps Workforce platform.
Use case: An HR team wants to collect binding votes on a policy change from all department heads and needs an auditable record of who voted and what they chose.
Available in: Ballots — pre-implementation (design and PRD stage)
Calendar Analytics: Core Insights Board — meeting analytics, RSVP tracking, and focus time reporting for workplace calendars
The Calendar Integration app now includes a Core Insights analytics board that surfaces meeting activity data directly inside the platform. Managers and team leads can review event volume, average meeting duration, RSVP acceptance rates, recurrence patterns, and event-type breakdowns — as well as per-person metrics showing meeting load versus focus time. Reports can be exported to CSV with a full audit log, and administrators can schedule automated delivery of analytics summaries by email on a recurring basis.
Use case: A team lead wants to understand whether their direct reports are spending too much time in recurring meetings versus heads-down work, and exports a per-person breakdown to share in a quarterly review.
Available in: Calendar Integration → Analytics → Core Insights Board
Emergency Alert Templates — Full CRUD for Tenant Admins — reusable emergency alert templates to speed up crisis communications
Tenant administrators can now create and manage a library of emergency alert templates through a dedicated template management area at /alert_templates. Each template stores the full alert composition — title, body, SMS text, delivery channels, urgency level, acknowledgment requirements, and check-in settings — along with a default audience. When composing a new alert, coordinators can pick a saved template and have all fields pre-filled automatically, reducing the time and risk of errors during high-pressure situations. Previously, every emergency alert had to be composed from scratch.
Use case: A safety coordinator needs to send an evacuation alert and selects a pre-approved "Building Evacuation" template that already has the correct urgency, SMS copy, acknowledgment requirement, and all-staff audience configured.
