HR Alerts Admin Controls — per-business HR alert configuration with recipient control and email preview

HR admins now have a dedicated configuration panel for all six HR alert types: work anniversary celebrations, birthday alerts, visa expiry reminders, probation ending notifications, missing I-9 escalations, and onboarding task reminders. Each alert can be enabled or disabled individually, and admins can specify exactly who receives it — the employee's direct manager, HR admins, or the employee themselves. An in-modal email preview renders the actual notification for both the manager and employee perspective before any changes take effect, so there are no surprises about tone or content.

Use case: An HR admin wants to send work anniversary notifications to managers only (not employees) and disable birthday alerts entirely — both changes take effect with two clicks, and the built-in preview confirms how the email will read for each recipient type.

Template Studio: AI Customization from Existing Templates — customize a pre-built HR or operations template with AI

Template Studio now supports an AI refinement flow that starts from an existing template rather than a blank slate. When opened from any template's detail page via "Customize with AI," the AI reads the template's current structure — sections, fields, and descriptions — and makes targeted changes based on what the user describes. Users can ask for a different audience, additional sections, updated language, or role-specific adjustments, and the AI preserves the template's overall shape while applying the requested modifications. Previously, Template Studio could only generate a new template from a freeform description.

Use case: An operations manager finds a "New Employee 30-60-90 Day Plan" template and needs to adapt it for a sales hire — clicking "Customize with AI" and describing the role produces an updated version in under two minutes without rebuilding it from scratch.

Template Studio: Copy as Markdown — export completed templates for use in wikis, docs, and collaboration tools

Template Studio now offers two output actions when a session is complete: "Copy as Markdown" and "Use this version." The Markdown export produces clean, structured output compatible with Notion, Confluence, GitHub wikis, and any Markdown-based tool — making it straightforward to move completed templates into the systems where they will actually be used. The previous PDF and Word download options have been replaced by this approach, which produces output that is easier to edit and paste across tools.

Use case: A team lead creates a weekly standup agenda template using AI, then copies it as Markdown and pastes it directly into the team's Confluence workspace in seconds.
