Performance Review Outcome Automation — automatically create PIPs and development plans from performance review scores
When a performance review cycle closes, HR teams often need to manually identify employees whose scores require follow-up and then create the appropriate plan — a time-consuming process prone to inconsistency. Admins can now configure score-range rules that automatically generate a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) or Career Development Plan (CDP) as soon as a review is finalized, with the employee's manager notified by email. Built-in duplicate-prevention safeguards ensure that the same plan is not created twice if a review is reprocessed or re-submitted.
Use case: An HR admin configures a rule so that any employee scoring below 2.5 out of 5 automatically receives a PIP and their manager receives a notification with next steps — eliminating the manual triage step after every review cycle.
