Admin Theme Customization — Custom branding and visual themes for workforce management platforms

Business admins can now fully customize the platform's visual appearance — including primary colors, typography, and component-level styles — without touching any code. The theme editor includes a live preview panel so changes are visible in real time before saving, a library of built-in presets for quick setup, and import/export support so themes can be reused across environments or shared between teams. This gives organizations precise control over how the platform looks and feels, ensuring it aligns with their brand identity for employees.

Use case: An IT admin at a mid-sized company wants the workforce platform to match their new brand guidelines — they select a preset close to their palette, fine-tune the primary and accent colors, and export the theme to apply it to their staging environment before rolling it out company-wide.

Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) Support — Formal PIP workflows for HR and managers

HR teams and managers can now create structured Performance Improvement Plans directly within the platform. Each PIP includes defined objectives, scheduled check-in milestones, an HR review and sign-off workflow, and the ability to record the final outcome. Deadline extensions can be granted when circumstances require it. This brings formal PIP processes into the same system used for goals, reviews, and development plans — eliminating the need for separate documents or external tools.

Use case: A manager identifies a performance gap and opens a PIP for a direct report — HR is notified, reviews and approves the plan, and regular check-ins are tracked in the platform until the plan concludes with a documented outcome.

Succession Hub Leadership Assessments — Structured leadership evaluations for succession candidates

HR professionals can now create, edit, and formally review leadership assessments for succession candidates inside the Succession Hub. Assessments capture structured competency and readiness data, support review workflows, and are surfaced directly on candidate and succession plan records. This makes it possible to build a consistent, documented picture of leadership readiness across the organization — tied to the same profiles used for succession mapping and development planning.

Use case: An HR business partner preparing for a leadership transition reviews all active succession candidates for a VP role, completes formal leadership assessments for each, and shares the results with the executive team as part of the succession review meeting.
