Price the AI before you switch it on

Every answer, summary and transcript is metered in credits, one credit to the cent. This prices a month at your size from that meter, deliberately at the dearest model an answer can reach.

What the AI costs

What will the AI actually cost you?

Every answer, summary and transcript is metered in credits, one credit to the cent. Nobody else publishes this, so here is ours — the per-action costs below are our own meter and our own logs, not an estimate.

Everyone who could use it. Only the share below actually will.

Not everyone who can, does. Set what you would expect in the first year; nobody reaches a hundred.

One question, one summary, one transcript — each is one action, priced separately below.

Tick what your people would actually use. The cost per action is what our own meter charges, not an estimate of it. Measured 2026-10-28: 32,119 logged requests and 115 traced turns on our own development tenant, priced at the published credit rates

600 people × 5 actions a week × 5.4 credits = 70,389 credits a month

A month of it

$704

$8K a year, on top of the subscription.

Per employee a month

$0.23

Across everyone, whether they use it or not.

One answer costs $0.054. A credit is a cent, and that is the whole of it — there is no seat fee for the AI and no tier you have to buy into.

The 7,500 credits every workspace starts with cover about 1,389 of these, before anything is charged at all.

Priced at the dearest of the four models an answer can route to. Across 20,000 logged requests the real mix works out about a quarter cheaper than this.

What this arithmetic ignores
  • Every action is priced at the standard tier, which is the dearest of the four an answer can route to. Across 20,000 logged requests the real mix works out about a quarter cheaper, so this errs high on purpose.
  • It assumes every action is a fresh one. Much of what people do is a follow-up in a conversation already open, which costs less.
  • Transcription and reading aloud are priced per hour and per page; a shorter clip still rounds up to a whole minute, as the meter bills it.
  • AI usage is billed on top of a subscription, and every workspace starts with credits before any of it is charged.
  • This is arithmetic, not a quote.
