Procurement Barcode Scanning — barcode scanning for warehouse receiving and order picking

The Procurement app now includes a unified scan surface at /apps/procurement/scan that accepts item barcodes from any input method — a phone camera, a USB keyboard-wedge scanner, or typed entry. All three paths run through the same resolver, so they agree on what a code means: a vendor UPC, a self-generated QR code, a bin location code, or a plain SKU. Multiple barcodes can be registered per item (a vendor carton barcode, a unit barcode, an internal label) with a configurable units-per-scan count, so scanning a case of 100 moves 100 units rather than 1. Bin-scoped picking lets a warehouse worker scan a bin first and then confirm each line in that bin without leaving the scan screen. Labels for bins, items, and pick lists are printable directly from the app.

Use case: A receiving clerk scans the supplier's carton barcode on delivery; the system records the correct unit quantity, updates the bin count, and closes the corresponding purchase order line — without any manual data entry.

Service Desk: Dynamic Option Lists from Spreadsheets and APIs — sync dropdown fields from Google Sheets, CSV, or a JSON endpoint

Request form dropdowns backed by a Shared Option List can now have a live data source instead of a static hand-typed list. Admins choose from five source types: an uploaded CSV/TSV file, a CSV at an HTTPS URL, a Google Sheet, a JSON endpoint, or a column from a Power Table already in the platform. The list refreshes on an hourly schedule, and a safety rule prevents a momentarily empty response from wiping a live dropdown — if the source returns nothing, the last good list stays in place. HTTP sources can be connected through a named Data Feed integration so credentials are stored on the integration record and never exposed in the form configuration.

Use case: A facilities team keeps their list of office locations in a Google Sheet that HR updates monthly. Now the Service Desk "Office Location" dropdown on the IT request form stays current automatically — without a ticket to the IT team to update it.

Service Desk: Notify Others at Submission — add colleagues to a ticket directly from the request form

The request form now includes a collapsible "Notify others" field that lets the person submitting a ticket add teammates, a manager, or anyone else who should follow the issue — before the ticket is created. The named people are added as followers with the same notification they would receive if added later from the ticket page, so they see the full thread from the start. The field is on by default for every request type and can be hidden per type in the admin intake layout settings. Anonymous submissions do not show the field, since follower notifications identify the person who added them.

Use case: An employee submitting a laptop replacement request can immediately add their manager in the same step so approvals and status updates reach both people without a follow-up message.
