Goal Sidebar Action Steps, Notes, and Ratings — complete goal activity in the side panel
The goal detail sidebar now surfaces three key activity types alongside the goal itself: Action Steps with a completion progress bar and task count, attached Notes with file links and direct view access, and Goal Ratings displayed as a read-only summary. Previously, employees and managers had to navigate to the full goal page to see this context — now it's available inline wherever the sidebar appears. This reduces friction during check-ins, 1:1s, and performance conversations by keeping relevant goal details one click away.
Use case: A manager reviewing a direct report's goal during a 1:1 can see which action steps are complete, read the latest note the employee attached, and check the current rating — all from the sidebar without leaving the conversation.

Schedule Hour Targets and Auto-Assign Limits — prevent over-scheduling with per-employee weekly hour targets
Managers can now define weekly hour targets for each employee on a schedule — drawn from contracted hours, role defaults, or manual overrides. The auto-assign engine respects these targets when filling open shifts, applying scoring penalties as an employee approaches their limit and blocking assignments that would exceed it. Remaining capacity and utilization percentages are visible in the team calendar modal and print views, giving schedulers a clear picture of availability before publishing. This helps organizations honor contracted hours, avoid burnout, and maintain fair distribution across the team.
Use case: A workforce manager running auto-assign for a busy week sees that two employees are near their contracted 40-hour limit — the system deprioritizes them for additional shifts and flags their remaining capacity, so the schedule is published without any unintentional overtime.
