Performance Review Acknowledgement Workflow — parallel sign-off after performance review meetings
Once a performance review meeting is marked complete, both the employee and the manager can independently acknowledge the review at their own pace. The cycle automatically advances to final approval as soon as both parties have acknowledged — no manual follow-up required. To keep the process moving, anyone who has not acknowledged within 24 hours receives an automatic email reminder.
Use case: A manager completes a mid-year review meeting and acknowledges the same day; the employee logs in the following morning, reviews the summary, and acknowledges — triggering final approval without any manual intervention from HR.
