Ask AI in Chrome Extension — AI assistant for employees inside the Chrome browser
The MangoApps Chrome extension now includes a full Ask AI chat interface. Employees can open the extension panel, ask questions in natural language, and receive answers drawn from MangoApps data and platform context — without switching tabs or navigating to a separate tool. The assistant maintains a short conversation history within the session, offers contextual suggestion chips based on the current page, and routes requests through the same agentic pipeline powering Ask AI elsewhere in the platform.
Use case: A frontline manager reviewing a shift schedule in their browser opens the extension and asks "Who is on call this weekend?" — and gets an accurate answer pulled directly from the platform without leaving the page.
Available in: Ask AI → Chrome Extension → Ask AI Panel
Sites: Section Templates & Version Comparison — reusable page sections and side-by-side version history for internal sites
Sites editors can now save any section of a page as a named template and insert it on other pages across the platform, making it straightforward to maintain consistent layouts for announcements, policy blocks, or branded content areas. In addition, the page history view now supports selecting any two versions and viewing them side-by-side in a compare view, so editors can see exactly what changed between drafts or across time before deciding whether to restore a previous version.
Use case: A communications team creates a branded "Important Notice" section once, saves it as a template, and reuses it across five department pages — then uses version compare to confirm the latest edit didn't accidentally remove a required disclaimer.
Available in: Sites → Page Editor → Section Templates / Page History → Compare
