Standard procedure for verifying, documenting, and completing a slot machine hopper or dispenser fill with dual employee sign-off.

Steps

• The slot attendant verifies the fill request
  The slot attendant verifies the fill request against the authorization log, confirming: (a) requestor identity and role, (b) machine serial number and location, (c) denomination and quantity match the approved fill ticket, (d) no discrepancies flagged in the prior 24-hour audit.
• The slot attendant and supervisor verify the machine details
• The authorized employee prepares the fill inventory
• The two employees transport the fill to the machine
• The slot attendant completes the fill at the machine
• The second employee independently verifies the completed fill
• The employees document and sign off the fill ticket
• The slot attendant escalates any discrepancy or exception
• The slot attendant notifies the supervisor and secures the area
• The slot attendant returns the machine to normal service
• The slot attendant completes the pre-fill audit
  Count the approved inventory before any fill begins, verify the denomination mix against the fill ticket, and reconcile the issued amount to the cage or vault record. Stop and escalate any shortage, overage, or denomination mismatch before inventory leaves controlled custody.
• The second employee performs dual-control verification
  The second employee independently counts the hopper contents or issued inventory, compares the result to the fill ticket, and confirms the count without relying on the first employee's statement. Both employees sign the reconciliation form. If the variance is not exactly ±0 coins, stop the process and escalate immediately.
• The slot attendant completes the post-fill audit trail
  Record the fill ticket number, timestamp, machine number, denomination, quantity filled, both employee names, and any variance or exception notes in the audit log or system of record. Retain the completed documentation according to site policy.
