Member Placement and Alignment
- Columns, beams, and girders installed in correct designated location
- Member orientation matches approved erection drawings
- Plumbness of erected members within project tolerance
- Line and level of beams/girders verified against layout control
- Required bearing and seat conditions are present
Temporary Bracing and Stability
- Temporary bracing installed where required by erection sequence
- Bracing members are properly connected and secured
- No unbraced unstable frames or unsupported members observed
- Temporary guy lines, shores, or supports are tensioned and anchored
- Bracing remains in place until permanent stability is achieved
Connections, Fasteners, and Weld Readiness
- Bolted connections installed in accordance with erection sequence
- Required bolts, washers, and nuts are present at each connection
- Connections are snug-tight or fully tightened per project requirement
- Field weld locations are identified and ready for qualified welding work
- Connection deficiencies or missing hardware documented
Safety Controls and Closeout
- Fall protection in place for exposed erection work
- Access routes, exclusion zones, and drop zones are established
- Any observed deficiency or non-conformance assigned corrective action
- Inspection status
