Audit Setup and Scope

• Display location identified and included in audit scope

• Audit date and time recorded
  Capture when the inspection was performed.

  Confirm the display is expected to show the current scheduled content.
• Reference content standard or SOP available

Display Status and Connectivity

• Screen is powered on and operational
  Display is on, boots normally, and is not blank or frozen.
• Screen is online and receiving content
  Device is connected to the network or player and is actively receiving updates.
• Displayed content matches the scheduled playlist
  Current on-screen content matches the expected schedule, campaign, or emergency message rotation.
• No visible playback errors, frozen frames, or missing media
  Check for error screens, black frames, broken links, or content that failed to load.

Placement, Visibility, and Readability

• Display is mounted or positioned securely
  Screen, bracket, stand, or enclosure is stable and shows no signs of loosening or tipping risk.
• Viewing angle and height support clear visibility
  Content can be read from the intended viewing area without excessive glare, obstruction, or awkward neck angle.
• Screen is unobstructed by fixtures, products, or equipment
  Nothing blocks the display face, lower edge, or key content area.
• Brightness and contrast are sufficient for ambient lighting
  Rate whether the display is readable under current lighting conditions.
• Text size and layout are legible at intended viewing distance
  Fonts, contrast, and spacing allow the message to be read without strain.

Physical Condition and Safety

• Screen surface is intact and free of cracks or major damage
  Inspect for cracked glass, damaged bezel, dead pixels affecting readability, or other physical defects.
• Cables, power supplies, and mounts are in safe condition
  No exposed conductors, loose cords, trip hazards, or damaged connectors are visible.
• Display does not interfere with emergency egress, alarms, or safety signage
  Placement does not block exits, emergency equipment, or required life-safety signs.

Content Quality and Compliance

• Content is current and not expired
  Verify the screen is not showing outdated announcements, promotions, or safety notices past their effective date.
• Required safety or compliance messages are visible when scheduled
  If the display is used for safety communication, confirm required messages are present and readable.
• Any non-conformance or deficiency documented
  Select all issues observed during the audit.
