- Odometer reading recorded
- Vehicle make, model, and year match fleet record
Exterior Condition
- No active fluid leaks under vehicle
- Tires have adequate tread and no visible sidewall damage
- Tire pressure recorded for all installed tires
- All exterior lights operate correctly
- Windshield, windows, and mirrors are intact and unobstructed
- Body panels, bumpers, and trim are free of new damage or unsecured parts
Mechanical Condition
- Brake warning lights are off
- Engine warning lights are off
- Battery terminals and visible wiring are secure and free of corrosion
- Belts and hoses show no visible cracking, fraying, or swelling
- Brake fluid, engine oil, coolant, and washer fluid are at acceptable levels
Interior and Safety Equipment
- Seat belts present, undamaged, and latch properly
- Driver controls, horn, wipers, and defroster operate correctly
- Cab interior is clean and free of loose items that could become projectiles
- Required safety kit is present and complete
- Cabin warning labels, decals, and company branding are intact and legible
Documents, Compliance, and Corrective Action
- Registration, insurance, and fleet authorization documents are present
- Inspection deficiencies documented with corrective action assigned
- Vehicle cleared for assignment
