Life Safety and Access

• Means of egress clear, unobstructed, and properly marked
• Temporary or permanent exit signage installed and visible
• Fire protection devices accessible and not obstructed
• Electrical panels, disconnects, and service equipment labeled and accessible
• Temporary barriers, floor openings, and trip hazards controlled
• Emergency lighting and fire alarm devices tested or verified operational

Room-by-Room Punchlist Items

• Room or area identifier
• Finish quality meets contract requirements
• Doors, frames, hardware, and closers operate correctly
• Walls, ceilings, and floors free of visible damage or unfinished work
• Fixtures, trim, and accessories installed and aligned
• Outstanding punchlist deficiencies documented

Systems and Functional Testing

• HVAC serving area operational and setpoints verified
• Lighting circuits and controls operational
• Plumbing fixtures leak-free and functional
• Low-voltage, data, and security devices tested
• Equipment startup, O&M manuals, and warranties delivered

Closeout Signoff

• All critical items resolved before signoff
