Load Capacity and Storage Practices
- Load capacity signs posted at each rack section or visible access point
- Load capacity signs legible and not obstructed
- Stored loads do not exceed posted rack capacity
- Pallets are centered and fully supported on beams
- No damaged pallets, broken deck boards, or unstable loads stored on rack
- Heavy items stored on lower levels and load distribution appears balanced
Housekeeping and Aisle Safety
- Aisles and access paths clear of stored product, debris, and trip hazards
- No product stored in front of electrical panels, exits, or fire protection equipment
- Floor condition around rack is dry, clean, and free of slip hazards
Corrective Actions and Closeout
- All deficiencies documented with location and severity
- Immediate controls implemented for critical items
- Follow-up owner and due date assigned for corrective actions
- Inspector signature completed
