Collision Quality Control Final Inspection Checklist

Pre-delivery quality control inspection for repaired vehicles before customer pickup, covering cosmetic finish, fit and finish, ADAS confirmation, road test results, and final detail readiness.

Vehicle Identification and Repair Scope

• VIN and repair order match the vehicle being inspected
• All billed repairs, parts, and calibrations are completed per repair plan
• Open supplements or unresolved non-conformances remain
• Required reference documents available for review

Exterior Finish and Body Fit

• Paint color match is acceptable under natural and shop lighting
• Paint finish is free of runs, sags, dirt nibs, overspray, and visible blend lines
• Panel gaps are even and consistent across repaired and adjacent panels
• Doors, hood, trunk, and liftgate open, close, and latch properly
• Trim, moldings, emblems, weatherstrips, and clips are installed and secure
• Glass, mirrors, lights, and lenses are clean, intact, and properly seated

Interior, Safety Systems, and ADAS Confirmation

• Interior is clean, free of repair debris, and all protective coverings removed
• Seats, seat belts, head restraints, and anchors are installed and functional
• Airbag, SRS, ABS, TPMS, and other warning lights are off after key-on and startup
• ADAS features requiring calibration or verification are confirmed complete
• Calibration documentation is attached or available for release

Mechanical Operation and Road Test

• No abnormal noises, vibrations, warning messages, or drivability concerns observed during road test
• Steering wheel is centered and vehicle tracks straight at normal road speed
• Brake pedal feel, stopping performance, and ABS operation are acceptable
• HVAC, wipers, washer system, horn, and exterior lighting operate correctly
• Road test completed and documented

Final Detail, Delivery Readiness, and Sign-Off

• Vehicle is fully detailed and ready for customer presentation
• All personal items, tools, fasteners, and repair materials have been removed
• Final deficiencies or non-conformances documented and assigned for correction
• Inspector signature
• Inspection completed date and time
