Pre-show walk-through inspection for cinema auditoriums to verify cleanliness, seat condition, aisle safety, lighting, and emergency egress readiness before guests are admitted.

Inspection Setup

• Auditorium identified and inspection time recorded
  Enter the auditorium number/name and the time the pre-show inspection began.
• Inspection completed before guest entry
  Confirm the walk-through was performed before doors opened to guests.

Seating Condition and Cleanliness

• Seats free of trash, spills, and visible debris
  Inspect rows for popcorn, cups, wrappers, food residue, and other visible debris.
• Seat cushions and backs in serviceable condition
  Verify seats are not torn, broken, collapsed, or otherwise unsafe for guest use.
• Armrests secure and free of sharp edges or damage
  Check armrests for looseness, cracks, exposed hardware, or other defects.
• Cup holders cleared and sanitary
  Confirm cup holders are empty, wiped clean, and not sticky or obstructed.
• Reserved or inaccessible seats clearly identified
  Verify any blocked, out-of-service, or reserved seats are clearly marked and not available for guest use.

Floors, Aisles, and Walking Surfaces

• Aisles and floor surfaces free of debris and slip hazards
  Look for popcorn, spilled drinks, wrappers, loose items, or wet spots that could create a slip or trip hazard.
• Walkways unobstructed from entrance to exits
  Confirm no carts, cleaning tools, boxes, or other obstructions block guest movement or egress routes.
• Steps and level changes visible and clearly defined
  Verify step edges and changes in elevation are easy to see and not obscured by debris or poor lighting.
• Floor condition free of damage that could cause trips
  Check for lifted carpeting, broken flooring, loose trim, or other trip hazards requiring repair.

Lighting and Emergency Egress

• Step lighting functioning in all required areas
  Confirm aisle and step lights are on and providing adequate visibility for safe movement.
• Emergency exit signs illuminated and visible
  Verify exit signage is lit, readable, and not blocked from view.
• Emergency exit doors open freely and hardware operates correctly
  Check that exit doors are not blocked, latches and panic hardware operate properly, and doors can be opened without unusual force.
• Exit routes and door areas free of storage or obstructions
  Confirm no items are stored in front of emergency exits or along the egress path.

Corrective Actions and Sign-Off

• Deficiencies documented with corrective action taken
  List any non-conformances found and the corrective action completed or assigned before opening.
• Inspection completed and ready for opening
  Confirm the auditorium is ready for guests after all critical items have been addressed.
