Traffic Awareness and Cart Movement

• Associate yields to moving vehicles and maintains safe separation
• Associate scans for pedestrians, children, and backing vehicles before entering travel lanes
• Cart movement is controlled and does not create runaway or collision risk
• Associate uses designated cart paths or safest available route when moving carts
• Associate maintains visibility to drivers and avoids blind spots

Cart Train Handling and Load Limits

• Cart train size stays within site limit
• Carts are connected, nested, or controlled to prevent separation during movement
• No overloaded carts, loose items, or damaged carts were moved
• Associate uses proper pushing posture and control when moving the cart train

Heat or Cold Stress Monitoring

• Associate shows no visible signs of heat or cold stress during observation
• Hydration, rest breaks, or warming breaks are used as needed
• Associate knows how to report symptoms or request relief from exposure
• Supervisor or lead is monitoring weather-related exposure risk
