• Outbound core pickup locations included in scope are identified
• Inspector confirms inspection covers the complete outbound load

Manifest Reconciliation

• Manifest quantity matches counted core units
• Battery type and chemistry listed on manifest match physical load
• Each pallet, tote, or container is accounted for on the manifest
• Any discrepancies between manifest and physical count are documented

Packaging, Labeling, and Load Condition

• Containers are intact, closed, and suitable for transport
• Battery cores are segregated by chemistry and condition as required
• Required labels, markings, and hazard identifiers are visible and legible
• No visible leakage, swelling, corrosion, or damaged cases observed

Safety Controls and Handling Readiness

• Spill kit and absorbent materials are available at the pickup point
• PPE appropriate to battery handling is available and used
• Pickup area is free of ignition sources and unnecessary obstructions
• Battery handling and loading are performed by trained personnel

Records, Exceptions, and Corrective Actions

• Driver or vendor representative signature obtained on pickup documentation
• Inspector signature completed
• Exceptions, shortages, or overages are documented with corrective action
