Action-Capable AI Agents — AI agents that take governed action across MangoApps apps
MangoApps AI agents have expanded from answering questions to taking approved actions on behalf of users. In this release, agents across 21 apps — Recruiting, Offer Manager, Service Desk, Leave Management, Scheduling, Onboarding, Recognition, Surveys, OKR Hub, Training, Succession, Timekeeping, Tasks, Forms, Compensation, Employee Data, Offboarding, Skill Swap, Guest Pass, On-Call Management, and Platform Admin — can now perform operations such as approving and rejecting offer letters, advancing recruiting candidates through pipeline stages, assigning and updating schedule shifts, processing leave requests, creating onboarding tasks, and awarding recognition points. All agent-initiated actions pass through the same controller-level authorization and permission checks as manual operations, so role restrictions, approval workflows, and audit trails remain fully intact.
Use case: An HR manager asks the Recruiting Agent to advance three shortlisted candidates to the interview stage. The agent shows a diff preview of the change, the manager confirms, and the candidates are updated — no manual navigation required.
Available in: MangoApps AI Agent Library → Recruiting, Offer Manager, Service Desk, Leave Management, Scheduling, and 16 additional apps
Proactive AI Suggestions Panel — Context-aware suggested actions on app dashboards
App dashboards across the newly action-capable agents now include a "Suggested Actions" panel that proactively identifies pending work relevant to the signed-in user and surfaces it as one-click prompts. Each suggestion card displays a title, a short description, and a "Take action with AI" button that pre-fills the Ask AI sidebar with the appropriate request — reducing the need to hunt across screens for items that need attention. Suggestions are generated dynamically based on the user's role and the state of live data, so an HR administrator sees different prompts than a department manager.
Use case: A recruiting coordinator opens the Job Board and sees a suggestion: "5 candidates are awaiting a status decision." They click the card, confirm the action in the Ask AI panel, and all five candidates are moved forward without individually opening each profile.
Available in: MangoApps AI → Any app with an action-capable agent — Recruiting, Offer Manager, Leave Management, Scheduling, Compensation, Onboarding, Service Desk, OKR Hub, Surveys, Training, Succession, Timekeeping, Tasks, Forms, and more
