Cost Center Tracking — Link procurement budgets and requisitions to cost centers

Organizations can now assign a cost center to each employee's profile and use that cost center to categorize procurement budgets and purchase requisitions. Budget managers can filter budget lists by cost center, check live budget availability directly on the requisition form before submitting, and export cost-center-tagged data for reporting. The system also enforces that only one active budget exists per cost center within any overlapping period, preventing double-counting and simplifying financial oversight.

Use case: A finance team running multiple departments can assign each department its own cost center, tie procurement budgets to those centers, and instantly see remaining budget availability when employees submit purchase requests — without any manual reconciliation in a spreadsheet.
