Standard procedure for reviewing incoming bug reports, assessing severity and priority, attempting reproduction, routing to the correct team, and documenting resolution status.

Steps

• Review the incoming bug report
• Validate the report for completeness
• Classify the bug severity and priority
• Attempt to reproduce the issue
• Document reproduction evidence
• Route the bug to the correct owner
• Assign the bug to the owning team
• Escalate cross-functional or high-severity issues
• Update the resolution status
• Record the triage decision and close the triage cycle
