- Forks, carriage, and attachment locking devices secure and undamaged
- Load chart present, legible, and matches installed attachment
- Load chart / capacity limits understood for planned lift
Outriggers, Stabilizers, and Leveling
- Outriggers / stabilizers deploy and retract properly
- Pads / feet / contact points undamaged and properly seated
- Machine levels correctly and stabilizer indicators function
Operator Visibility and Cab Condition
- Cab glass, windshield, and mirrors provide clear visibility
- Seat, seat belt, and restraint system functional and undamaged
- Horn, backup alarm, and warning devices operational
Essential Safety Controls and Documentation
- Service brake, parking brake, and steering controls operate correctly
- All control labels and safety decals are present and legible
- Operator reports no unresolved defects or unsafe conditions
