  • Engine oil, coolant, and fuel levels are within operating range
  • Battery, belts, and engine compartment show no loose, damaged, or missing components
  • Hydraulic quick couplers are secure and free of damage

Operator Controls and Safety Devices

  • Seat belt is present, undamaged, and latches properly
  • Safety bar / interlock system raises, lowers, and functions as intended
  • Controls, pedals, joysticks, and switches operate smoothly and return to neutral
  • Backup alarm, horn, lights, and warning indicators function correctly
  • Cab, mirrors, windows, and visibility aids are clean and unobstructed

Attachment, Coupler, and General Operating Condition

  • Attachment lock pins / coupler are fully engaged and secure
  • Attachment shows no cracks, bent components, or excessive wear
  • No unusual noises, vibrations, or odors observed during pre-operation check
  • Machine is safe to place into service
