  • Operation counter reading recorded
  • Target indicators, flags, or trip/reclose status normal
  • Control settings label or configuration matches expected record

Interrupter and Mechanism Condition

  • Interrupter type identified
  • Oil level / sight glass within acceptable range
  • Vacuum interrupter condition indicators normal
    For vacuum devices, verify visible condition indicators, seals, and any manufacturer-specific status marks are normal.
  • Operating mechanism shows no abnormal noise, binding, or delayed motion
  • Manual operating handle, trip lever, or external reset device intact

Communication, Protection, and Safety Status

  • Communication status normal
  • Alarm, fault, or event indication reviewed
  • Grounding and bonding visibly intact
  • Approach area safe and PPE used per job hazard assessment
  • Any immediate hazard requiring de-energization or escalation
