Controls, PPE, and Energy Isolation

- Stored energy released, blocked, or restrained before task begins
Work Area Conditions and Emergency Readiness
- Housekeeping adequate; walking/working surfaces free of slip, trip, and fall hazards
- Access/egress routes clear and emergency exits unobstructed
- Fire protection and emergency equipment available for the task
- Eyewash or emergency shower accessible and unobstructed where chemical exposure is possible
- Communication method and emergency contact plan confirmed
