  Kit should be immediately available to staff and not blocked by other supplies or locked without authorized access.
• All required emergency medications are present
  Verify the kit contains the practice's required emergency medications per office protocol and standing inventory list.
• Emergency medications are within expiration date
• Medication packaging is intact and labels are legible
  Check for compromised packaging, missing labels, discoloration, or contamination.

Oxygen Supply and Delivery Equipment

• Oxygen cylinder is present and secured
  Cylinder must be stored upright and secured against tipping.
• Oxygen cylinder pressure is within usable range
• Oxygen regulator, tubing, and mask are present and functional
  Confirm regulator attachment, tubing integrity, and mask condition for emergency use.
• Oxygen equipment shows no visible damage, leaks, or contamination

AED Readiness

• AED is present and accessible in the designated location
  AED should be easy to locate and not obstructed by furniture, carts, or stored materials.
• AED power indicator shows ready status
  Confirm the device indicates it is operational and ready for use.
• AED pads are present and within expiration date
• AED battery status is acceptable
  Battery indicator or self-test status confirms sufficient charge for emergency use.

Documentation and Corrective Actions

• Deficiencies documented with corrective action assigned
• Expired or missing items removed from service or quarantined
• Inspector signature completed
