Basin and Water Quality Condition

  • Basin is clean and free of sediment, sludge, scale, and standing debris
  • Water level is within the normal operating range
  • Makeup water, bleed-off, and overflow components are functioning as intended
  • Basin strainers, screens, and sump areas are intact and unobstructed

Legionella Control Program

  • Legionella control program is documented and current
    Confirm the facility has a written program with defined responsibilities, monitoring, corrective actions, and review intervals.
  • Water treatment logs show required biocide, inhibitor, or disinfectant checks completed
  • Recent microbiological or Legionella monitoring results reviewed
  • Corrective actions from prior water quality excursions were completed and documented

Operational Safety and Mechanical Condition

  • Fans, belts, motors, and guards show no abnormal vibration, noise, or visible damage
  • Electrical enclosures and controls are closed, intact, and free of moisture intrusion
  • Leaks, unusual odors, or unsafe conditions observed
