Survey Control and Benchmarks

• Primary benchmark located, stable, and protected from disturbance
• Benchmark identification and published elevation match the control sheet
• Control point coordinates verified against the latest approved survey data
• Control point condition is intact, legible, and not disturbed
• Measured benchmark elevation variance

Grade Stakes and Setout

• Grade stakes installed at required locations and intervals
• Stake labels, cut/fill values, and stationing are legible and match the field notes
• Offset stakes and reference hubs are present where required
• Measured stake elevation variance
• Stake protection and visibility are adequate for ongoing site operations

Layout Accuracy

• Observed layout matches approved alignment and stationing
• Measured offset from control line
• Measured dimension variance against plan
• Curves, corners, and tie-in points verified where applicable
• Any field changes or conflicts with existing conditions documented

Tolerance and Compliance

• All checked points are within project tolerance
• Out-of-tolerance conditions identified and segregated from accepted work
• Corrective action or re-survey required
