MangoApps has been named a 2026 WorkTech Award winner by the Inspiring Workplaces Group, making this our second year in a row on the list.
This year, 14 technology companies from around the world were recognized. But what stood out to us was something Inspiring Workplaces founder Matt Manners said in the announcement: "More technology does not automatically mean a better workplace."
We agree.
There's no shortage of new workplace technology, especially around AI. The harder question is whether any of it is actually making work better for the people using it.
That's a big part of what the WorkTech Awards set out to recognize.

How the 2026 WorkTech Awards were judged
The judging focused on five areas: why the company exists, how much it invests in improving its product, what it's doing differently, the results customers are seeing, and whether the company creates the kind of employee experience it promotes to others.
That meant we needed to show real examples and real results, not simply talk about what MangoApps can do.
The customer results we submitted
TeamHealth: 200+ applications in one app for 23,000 clinicians
TeamHealth, one of the largest physician practices in the U.S., uses MangoApps to power ZeniTH, its employee app for 23,000 clinicians working across hundreds of facilities.
Before ZeniTH, employees had to navigate a long list of different systems and tools. Today, more than 200 applications are accessible through one mobile app. More than 90% of employees use ZeniTH every month, even though using it isn't required. They come back because it makes their work easier.
We also shared the story of Petauri.
Petauri: one platform across 5x growth and multiple acquisitions
Petauri launched MangoApps on January 1, 2024, when the company had about 100 employees. Since then, it has grown to more than 500 employees across the U.S. and UK, largely through acquisitions.
As new companies join Petauri, their employees can immediately become part of the same workplace rather than waiting months for systems to be combined.
Petauri has also built three AI assistants in MangoApps. When choosing its approach to AI, the company needed to keep a complete record of the questions employees asked and the answers they received. That requirement led Petauri to choose MangoApps over Microsoft Copilot, which couldn't provide that capability at the time.
Where MangoApps invests: 40% of revenue and 300+ releases a year
More than 40% of our revenue now goes back into research and product development, and that number continues to grow.
Over the past 12 months, we've shipped more than 300 releases. We publish every one of them in our changelog, with dates and details, so customers and anyone evaluating MangoApps can see exactly what we've been working on.
Some of the work we're most excited about goes beyond simply giving employees an AI assistant they can ask questions.
For example, a shift handoff can automatically create follow-up tasks. If an employee reports something blocking their work, MangoApps can check again when the related issue has been resolved. When someone returns to a procedure they've used before, they can see what changed instead of reading the entire document again.
These may not make for the flashiest AI demos, but they solve real problems.
That matters especially for frontline employees. A lot of workplace technology has been designed first for people sitting at desks. We think AI needs to be useful for the person working in a store, hospital, warehouse, factory or out in the field too.
How MangoApps uses its own platform
MangoApps also runs on MangoApps.
Our employees use the same platform we sell to our customers, including our own AI assistants. Today, those assistants handle about 40% of routine HR and IT questions internally.
Our product roadmap is shaped by customers too. Most of what we build starts with a customer request, and because every release is public, anyone can look back and see what we shipped and when.
We also run our customer community on MangoApps. It's where customers work directly with their Customer Success teams, share what they've built and learn from each other. Our monthly spotlight sessions follow the same idea. Instead of us showing customers what MangoApps can do, customers show each other how they're using it.
Why this award matters alongside our analyst recognition
We've been fortunate to receive a lot of recognition for MangoApps.
Gartner has named us a Visionary in the Magic Quadrant for Intranet Packaged Solutions for four consecutive years. Forrester has named us a Strong Performer in the Intranet Platforms Wave three times in a row. IDC named MangoApps a Leader in its Worldwide Employee Experience MarketScape, and ClearBox recognized us as an AI Innovator, Leading Product and Community Builder in its 2026 review.
Those evaluations look closely at the strength of the platform.
The WorkTech Awards come at it from a slightly different angle: Is the technology actually helping people?
That's a question we care a lot about.
MangoApps has now been around for 18 years. We're bootstrapped and employee-owned, more than 2 million people use our platform, and we retain 98% of our customers.
Through all of that, one problem has remained surprisingly consistent. Frontline employees have been left behind by wave after wave of workplace technology. As AI becomes a bigger part of how companies operate, there's a real risk of that happening again.
We want to help make sure it doesn't.
Thank you to Inspiring Workplaces and the judging panel for the recognition, and especially to the customers who continue to trust us and allow us to share their stories.
