Payroll Connect integrates MangoApps with your existing payroll system. Sync employees, submit approved timesheets, import paychecks for employee self-service, and track compensation changes. Built-in connectors for ADP Workforce Now, Workday HCM, Gusto, BambooHR, Paychex, and MangoPay, plus a custom API connector. Use Payroll Connect when you already have a payroll provider; use Payroll Processing instead to run payroll in-house inside MangoApps.

Payroll Connect supports ADP Workforce Now, Workday HCM, Gusto, BambooHR, Paychex, and MangoPay out of the box. Custom providers can be configured via the API-based connector. Available providers appear in the admin dashboard when setting up a new connection.

During connection setup, you configure field mappings between MangoApps employee records and the payroll provider. The system supports custom field mapping and employee ID matching, with auto-mapping available on initial connection.

Yes. Once paychecks are imported from the connected provider, employees can view their pay history including earnings breakdowns, deduction details, and downloadable PDF pay stubs from the self-service pay stub view.

Failed syncs are logged with error details. The dashboard shows connection health metrics and admins can re-trigger syncs or test connections from quick action buttons. Automatic retries are attempted up to the configured max retry count.

Payroll Connect integrates with an *external* payroll provider (ADP, Gusto, Workday, etc.) to sync data and display paychecks. Payroll Processing (separate app) runs payroll *in-house* — it calculates deductions, taxes, and issues payments directly. Choose Payroll Connect if you already have a payroll system; choose Payroll Processing to have MangoApps run payroll for you.
