Overview
Production Batch Log is a working register for managers and admins to record production batches and follow each lot from manufacture through result review and release. Each record includes the required Batch, Product, and Produced date fields, along with Line, Quantity, Result, Deviation, and Release. Line options are Line 1, Line 2, Line 3, and Pilot. Result options distinguish In spec, Deviation, and Rejected, while Release identifies whether the lot is Held or Released.
Use the app when you need a focused operational view of what was produced, where it was produced, what happened during review, and whether it may be released. The Deviations view isolates records whose Result is Deviation, On hold shows every record with Release set to Held, and This week filters production activity by the Produced date. The Overview screen presents metric and card views, while Batch log provides the full grid and action bar for record work. When a record is added, the Deviation alert notifies the app owner, helping the owner notice new entries that may need review.
This template is not a replacement for an approved batch record, laboratory result system, quality management system, or legally required retention process. It also permits records to be edited and deleted, so it should not be treated as an append-only register. Use it as a controlled operational register and define who approves release, how supporting evidence is retained, and how corrections are handled in your quality procedures.
