Weekly Reports

Each person's weekly report — wins, what got done, next week and asks for help — drafted from their week and read by their team and managers.

Overview

Weekly Reports replaces the weekly status post with a report that is quick to write and worth reading. Each team has a template: the shared sections every report carries — Wins, Done this week, Next week, Could use a hand with, and an optional Life outside work — plus the team's own sections, groupings and fields, so Sales can keep an account list and a pipeline while Marketing groups wins by program.

People write by talking to an assistant in Ask AI or Chat, typed or by voice, or in a form that starts from what they finished that week in their other apps. Last week's plan comes back as a question — done, still going, or let go — and every report can carry a poster in the company's own characters.

Reports are read by the writer's team and their managers on a poster wall that leads with the week's wins and the asks for help. Reports are never scored. Features that would count how people work, such as a list of who hasn't filed, are off and are offered only after a legal review.

Highlights

Each person writes a short weekly report: wins, what got done, next week's plan and anything they could use a hand with.
Write in a form, start from the things you finished in other apps, or talk it through with the assistant in Ask AI, typed or by voice.
Last week's plans come back as a question — done, still going or let go — so nothing quietly drops.
Reports are read by the writer's team and managers on a poster wall that leads with the week's wins and the asks for help.
Teammates press I can help on an ask, and managers read their whole team's week in one view.
Each team gets its own template, schedule and readers; the company's AI cost is shown up front and never counts against a person's own AI limit.

Capabilities

Writing a report
  • Shared sections: Wins, Done this week, Next week, Could use a hand with, and an optional Life outside work
  • Team sections as bullets, grouped bullets or a table
  • Draft from my week — lines from work finished in other apps, each linked back
  • Talk it through with the Weekly Reports assistant in Ask AI, typed or by voice
  • Write and share on the phone
  • Skip a week, with a reason only the writer sees
  • A poster of the week, drawn by AI in the company's own character
Reading and responding
  • Read by the writer's team and managers by default, or just their managers, or everyone
  • A poster wall of the week, wins and asks for a hand first
  • A manager's team view and each person's reports over time
  • Reactions and comments on a report
  • I can help on an ask, opening a Chat message to the writer
  • Translate a report into the reader's language
  • A recognition offered for colleagues a report mentions
Asking and admin
  • Team templates: who is asked, sections, schedule, owner and standing readers
  • The ask in each person's own time zone, with one reminder the next working day
  • People on leave all week are not asked
  • A weekly wins post drafted for a named approver to send to the News Feed
  • Reminders from the dates a report names, for its writer only

Use cases

Replace the weekly status email
Each person writes their week in a few minutes from a Friday ask, and their team and manager read it on one wall instead of a long thread.
Get help to the person who's stuck
Asks for a hand lead the wall, a teammate presses I can help, and the writer marks it sorted once it is.
Keep plans from quietly dropping
Next week's plan comes back the following week as a question, and a plan that is still going carries forward.
Share the team's wins with the company
Each Monday last week's company-readable wins are drafted into one News Feed post, sent only once a named approver approves it.
