Onboarding Manager Nudge — Send targeted onboarding reminders directly to new hires

Managers can now send a targeted nudge to new hires about the specific onboarding items they personally owe — directly from the "Needs Your Attention" dashboard row or from the plan header. Before this change, the daily overdue alert only ran one way: toward the manager ("Priya has items overdue"). Managers who saw the alert had no path back to the new hire without reaching out separately. The nudge delivers an email and an in-app notification listing only the tasks the new hire can actually complete — filtering out items assigned to IT, HR, or the hiring manager themselves — and includes a brief note about any excluded items so the shorter list does not read as a gap. A per-recipient cooldown (4 hours) prevents multiple managers from piling onto the same new hire on the same day.

Use case: An HR manager sees that a new hire in their second week still has three paperwork items outstanding. They press "Nudge" from the onboarding dashboard and the new hire receives an email that lists exactly those three items with direct links — without any manual copy-and-paste.

Sites: Org-Chart–Based Site Creation Policy — Grant site creation to people managers without assigning a role

Admins can now set the "who can create sites" policy to People Managers — anyone in the business who has at least one active direct report. This is resolved from the live org chart, not from a manually maintained role list, so it stays accurate as the organization changes. The option sits alongside the existing role-based "Managers" and "All employees" modes in the Sites settings. Admins who want department leads and team leads to publish sites without elevating their platform role can now do so in a single setting change.

Use case: A communications admin wants every team lead to be able to create a team site, but the company does not use formal "Manager" roles in the directory. Setting the policy to "People Managers" immediately grants access to the 47 employees with direct reports, without any manual role changes.

Customizable Printed Schedules — Choose which shift details appear on printed schedule handouts

Both the Schedule page's Print Calendar and the Team Calendar's Print view now include a checkbox bar above the printed sheet. Planners can show or hide the shift name, shift label, location, scheduling team, and description independently. The choice is saved per user and applies to both print views simultaneously, so a supervisor who turns off the description column does not have to reconfigure it the next time they print. Defaults match what printed before, so no existing handout changes until someone opts in.

Use case: A warehouse supervisor prints weekly schedule handouts for a team where every shift is at the same location. They hide the location column to make room for the description, which lists equipment assignments — and the preference sticks for every future print run without additional setup.
