Chat Home Widget — Unread conversations on the employee home dashboard

The home dashboard now includes a Chat widget showing each employee's unread conversations, newest first, with an unread count badge and direct links to Chat and Mentions. Previously, Chat was the one frequently-used app with no presence on the home page — employees had to navigate away to know whether anything needed their attention. The widget is personal (it shows only rooms the viewer is a member of), matches the same unread counts displayed in the navigation badge, and names direct messages by the other participant rather than a generated room title.

Use case: An employee opens the home dashboard in the morning and immediately sees three unread conversations — two group rooms and a direct message — without navigating to Chat first.

Chat Message Audit Trail — Full edit and delete history for chat messages

Chat now records a complete audit trail for every message edit and deletion: who made the change, when, from which IP address, and what the message said before the change. Previously, the platform noted that a message had been edited or deleted but retained no record of who acted or what the original content was — making it impossible to investigate an incident after the fact. The history is accessible through the existing audit log at /admin/audit_logs with no additional setup required.

Use case: After receiving a harassment report, an HR administrator opens the audit log, filters by chat messages, and retrieves the original text of a message that was edited minutes after it was sent — along with the sender's identity and timestamp.

Available in: Chat → Admin → Audit Logs

Training Automations: Whole-Business Audience Enrollment — Remove the enrollment rule cap for large organizations

Training enrollment rules can now target an entire organization — up to 200,000 learners — rather than being limited to 500 users per run. Large enrollment batches run as a background job, so admins receive a notification when processing completes rather than waiting in-browser. Re-running a rule is idempotent: employees who are already enrolled are skipped automatically. This makes it practical to roll out mandatory compliance courses or policy training to the full workforce through a single automation rule.

Use case: An L&D manager sets up an enrollment rule for a new data-privacy course targeting every active employee. The rule runs overnight, enrolls 18,000 learners in batches, and sends the manager a completion notification — without any manual follow-up.
