AI Podcast Generation for Comms Hub — turn internal newsletters into audio podcast episodes automatically

Comms Hub can now transform any newsletter issue into a fully produced audio podcast with a single toggle. The platform generates a two-host conversational script from the issue content using AI, then synthesizes it into a listenable audio file — no recording studio, no editor, no manual effort. Episodes are stored in the media library and can be published alongside the written issue. This is especially valuable for reaching frontline, deskless, or mobile-first employees who absorb content by listening rather than reading.

Use case: A communications manager publishes a monthly company update and, with one click, makes it available as a podcast episode — employees on the floor or commuting can catch up by listening without needing to open the intranet.

Practice Hub now supports live voice mode: employees can practice difficult conversations — de-escalation, hostile Q&A, sales pitches, interviews — by actually speaking with an AI persona that responds instantly and can be interrupted mid-sentence. Unlike the typed turn-based format, voice mode creates realistic pressure and pace, which is precisely what makes it effective for scenarios where composure under real-time stress is the skill being developed. Sessions are capped at 10 minutes, scored on delivery and content, and automatically feed into the learner's existing Practice Hub metrics and certifications.

Use case: A customer service team member rehearses a tense de-escalation scenario out loud before a difficult shift — the AI plays an upset customer, responds in real time, and the platform scores tone and technique the same way a live coaching session would.

Ballots in Global Search — find workplace votes and ballots from anywhere in the platform

Ballots are now indexed in the platform's global search. Employees can search for active or recent workplace votes directly from the search bar without navigating to the Ballots app first. Results respect each user's eligibility — members only see ballots they are invited to participate in, while administrators see all ballots. Draft ballots are excluded from results. This makes the Ballots app a first-class citizen in the platform's information architecture, alongside discussions, documents, and other searchable content.

Use case: An employee remembers a vote was opened about upcoming policy changes and types "policy vote" into global search — the relevant ballot appears immediately without requiring them to know which app to look in.
